Lise Sedrez Ph.D. Brazil Consultant

Lise Fernanda Sedrez, Brazil Consultant, M.S., Ph. D. Stanford University, is a native of Brazil. Since 1998 Lise has worked with Charis clients over a range of industries on expatriate assignments to Brazil and effective business interactions for tapping Brazil's emerging market. She worked for five years in the U.S. with non-governmental environmental organizations, both international and grassroots, after graduating from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Lise's research projects included international environmental policy, the Internet and the environment, and the Amazon rainforest. In Brazil, Lise held positions of General Secretary, Brazilian Forests Society, Assistant Professor in Environmental History at the City College of Rio de Janeiro, Data Base Manager of Brazilian Database of Environmental Organizations, and Executive Secretary of the Environment Defense Group. Lise is fluent in Portuguese, Italian, English, French and Spanish.
