Rebecca Weiner M.A. Israel Consultant

Rebecca Weiner, M.A., Psychology, M.F.T.I., is an American interculturalist who has worked with hundreds of employees, both American and Israeli, to build awareness and bridge the communication gaps that frustrate both sides. She is an insightful presenter on Jewish and Israeli history, culture, and customs and a skilled facilitator. She has delivered the Working with Israel training program to high-tech engineers, managers, and financial services employees, and conducted cross-cultural team-building to support a merger of an Israeli telecommunications company with a U.S. company.

Rebecca has trained dozens of families in Expatriate Orientation to Israel to prepare for relocation to many cities in Israel, including Jerusalem, Haifa, Tel Aviv, and Ashkelon/Qiryat Gat. She provides valuable insights on cultural adjustment to working and living in Israel for employees, spouses, and children, with a specialization in working with teens.

She works with Israelis on a regular basis at the Center for Jewish Living and Learning in Oakland, California where she has conducted aliyah programs for immigrants to Israel, and repatriation programs for Jewish youth groups. Rebecca travels frequently to Israel, has been an expatriate living in Israel, and is conversant in Hebrew.
