Trivikram “Triv” Prasad, Intercultural Management Associate, M.S. Industrial and Systems Engineering, is a skilled leader of global teams and an experienced trainer of technical people aspiring to successful management and teamwork within global companies. Triv has been a successful software developer, manager, coach and trainer at Intel Corp. and GTX Corp. in Phoenix, AZ, and at Intel and Intuit in Bangalore, India.
Whether as a manager or as a trainer, Triv is passionate about reaching high performance across cultures, distance and time zones. He’s a good listener, has a warm approachable style, and is a clear communicator. His software and project management background gives him insight to the technical challenges, business environments, and intercultural communication issues that arise for global software teams, especially in the India-U.S. interface. Triv has led the architecture and roadmap efforts for delivery of technical solutions in the Supply Chain automation for Intel’s Assembly Test factories in the U.S. and Asia.
He has conducted management training to develop the next generation of leaders and managers at a high tech company in India, covering problem-solving, decision-making, influencing, and performance management. He has been a coach and mentor to employees to build technical depth, management expertise, and career growth in order to develop high performing global teams. He is a certified Master Instructor for Influence Edge, and brings a wealth of U.S. work experience and cross-cultural insights to Charis’ Working with the USA program as our instructor in India. In addition to his work in the U.S. and India, Triv provides Working with China for Indian teams, based on his first-hand experience working with engineers in China, and Charis’ in-depth China training resources.
Triv has lived in Nigeria, Dubai, India and the U.S., and travels to the U.S. several times a year. He is a graduate of the University of Mysore, Karnataka, India where he earned his B.E. Industrial and Production Engineering with honors. He earned his M.S. Industrial and Systems Engineering from Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona, magna cum laude, and was President of the India Students' Association. |
